Welcome to the website of Matt Williams, PGA Golf Professional. Matt has enjoyed playing golf for many years and now passes his knowledge and experience on to his clients at Wareham Golf Club in Dorset, where he is the club's PGA Head Professional.
Having been taught by some of the top coaches in the game and competed internationally Matt has a unique approach to coaching without a one-style approach.

About
Who is Matt Williams?
Matt gained his first handicap at the age of 11 before being a member of the Cornwall U14, U16 & U18 squads.
Following achievements regional and nationally in college golf tournaments Matt obtained a scholarship at Bournemouth University on their golf team shortly before starting his 3 year PGA degree.
Now Matt is recognised across the South of England both as an accomplished golf performance coach working with club, county and national champions as well as a former tournament professional with 7 Professional worldwide wins.

Matt prides himself on working with golfers of all abilities from all around the world. Having competed on an international scale Matt is able to draw from his own experiences as a player and having worked with some of the games most successful coaches for his own performance.
The enjoyment is the same whether helping fellow professionals with their game or in lessons with those looking to try the game for the first time, allowing expert tuition to be accessible and most importantly understandable for all.
What to expect in a lesson with Matt

Individual interview about the current state of your game, any physcial limitations that may affect your swing and the goals you want to achieve from lessons

Detailed video lesson summary
The length of time for golf lessons does vary depending on how serious you are at improving your golf and adding enjoyment to when you play. 30 minute lessons are £35 and 1 hour lessons are £60, both available to take your golf to new levels.
Golf performance programs are available and suitable for all abilities who are looking to have consistent support along their journey over a number of months. These programmes are available all year round for those dedicated to getting better whilst gaining a saving on the cost of coaching.
*All lessons must be used during this time period. Any unused lessons in this period can still be used for a £15 per lesson fee.*

The Matt Williams Golf Performance Studio is the only purpose built indoor performance studio in the county running the highest spec Trackman software allowing us to see every detail of your swing. It compliments quite nicely the already established practice area and putting/chipping green already at the club. With this in mind, Matt believes that at Wareham GC he has the best facility to improve your golf in Dorset, come rain or shine you everything you could possibly require is available.
The Golf Performance Studio is kitted with the latest Trackman4 launch monitor and high quality video analysis allowing for the finest state of the art facilities to hone your entire game. With simulated courses available you can feel the same on course pressure whilst making tweaks to your game to ensure there are no cracks in your performance.
There really is no excuse why you wouldn't want to take advantage of the industry leading facilities, the big question is when are you booking in to take full control of your game?
Golf Holidays
Over the last 8 years, Matt has spent time developing overseas golf & tuition trips that offer you the chance to experience many fantastic golf courses in some incredible locations.
Every winter Matt will run a number of golf tuition golf breaks where you don't have to organise a thing whilst having your own PGA Professional on hand to help you play better during your stay. These trips are a great way to meet new friends, visit unforgettable destinations and relax with a no hassle break. After running 18 overseas trips Matt is the most experienced and knowledgeable person on where is best to go.
